There is a way to communicate with your spouse that will be more effective and less combative. Of course, we must approach our words with humility, compassion and purpose. When there is intense fellowship it is easy to just go for the jugular but if we decide to practice this principle of Colossians 4:6 we will limit the blow ups that usually happens when words become weapons.
Marriage Tools You Can Use
It is said that a man without a vision for his future always returns to his past
It is vital that you see yourself, your circumstances, your relationship beyond your now. Whether good or bad there is an expectation when you move forward. With expectation there is hope, with hope faith increases, with faith, God is moved on your behalf.
I understand that in hard times, it's difficult to see beyond your present but there is a God that sees, speaks and succeeds even in the dark places. Scripture says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
If we know this and begin to believe this our vision will become more clear.
Declare the vision for your home, even if it's in a dark place.
"Where there is no vision, the people perish..." Proverbs 29:18

May God be your protector and comforter during these difficult times. Stay prayerful, unified, and accessible to one another.
I hope you all are being creative with staying engaged with one another without getting on each other nerves.
It is not the responsibility of the movie theater, the restaurant or the recreation facilities to keep you going. Those are just a bonus.
This is a great time to...
■Reintroduce yourselves to each other. Discuss your likes and dislikes. Celebrate your growth and victories.
■Revisit the reason for your union. When irritated and consumed with life's concerns, it's easy to focus on the negatives and forget all of the positives.
■Restore each other in these times of frustration, anxiety and the unknown. These are trying times and it is important to have a safe place to release any tension. Pray, comfort and encourage each other.
